Motion Tracking on Filmora for Mac
Motion tracking enables you to track moving objects in a video clip and then let other objects (text, video clips, images, or elements) follow the same movement.
How to use motion tracking?
Intuitive interaction process: You can move the text, image, element, or clip of the track in the timeline or replace it with something else.
To track objects in a video clip, please follow these steps:
Step 1: Select the video in the timeline, double-click the video, and then select Motion Tracking in the "Video" column.
Step 2: Select the target in the tracking box. You can change the size and position of the box as you need in the preview window.
Step 3: Then, click Start Tracking.
Step 4: If you want to use the drop-down menu to select the tracking path to follow. Your media must already be in your timeline and overlap the tracked clip displayed on this menu.
Step 5: If you want to make adjustments to the size and position of the text, image, element, or clip, that will follow the tracking path.
